Selection Process
Selection process for the Jail Prahari positions involves multiple stages to ensure that only the most capable candidates are selected. The stages are as follows:
- Written Examination:
- The written exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions covering subjects such as General Knowledge, General Studies, Reasoning and Intelligence, General Hindi, and General English.
- The duration of the exam is 2 hours, and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
- The exam will be conducted in both English and Hindi mediums.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
- Candidates who qualify in the written exam will undergo the PET.
- This test includes tasks such as running, long jump, and high jump to assess the physical fitness of the candidates.
- Document Verification (DV):
- Candidates who clear the PET will undergo document verification.
- Candidates need to provide all relevant documents, including educational certificates, identity proof, and caste certificates (if applicable).
- Medical Examination:
- Final stage is the medical examination to ensure candidates are medically fit for service.
