SSC Delhi Police Head Constable Ministerial Selection Procedure
SSC Delhi Police Driver Selection Process 2025 involves five key stages:
1. Computer-Based Examination (CBE)
- Objective-type written test
- Subjects: General Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Road Safety & Vehicle Maintenance
- Duration: 90 minutes
- Total Marks: 100
2. Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT)
- Height: Minimum 170 cm (relaxable for certain categories)
- Chest: 81–85 cm with minimum 4 cm expansion
- Endurance: Includes running, long jump, and high jump
3. Trade Test (Driving Skill Test)
- Practical driving test for Heavy Motor Vehicles
- Includes:
- Driving proficiency
- Knowledge of traffic rules
- Ability to handle vehicle in varied conditions
- Basic vehicle maintenance
4. Document Verification
- Verification of educational certificates, driving license, identity proof, etc.
5. Medical Examination
- Final fitness check as per Delhi Police standards.
SSC Delhi Police Head Constable Ministerial Exam Scheme

The indicative syllabus for the Computer Based Examination will be as follows: –
Part A: General Awareness: Question in this component will be aimed at testing the candidate’s general awareness around him. Questions will also be designed to test his knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Indian Economy, General Polity, Indian Constitution, Scientific Research, etc. These Questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline
Part B: General Intelligence: Analytical aptitude and ability to observe and distinguish patterns will be tested through questions principally of nonverbal type. This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, visual memory, discrimination, observations, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasons and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, etc.
Part C: Numerical Ability: This paper will include questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental Arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.
Part –D: Questions related to Road Sense, Vehicle Maintenance, Traffic Rules/Signals/Signages, vehicle & environmental pollution, i.e., petrol and diesel vehicle, CNG operated vehicle, Noise pollution, etc.
The question paper of the CBE will be of Class 10th Level
